Great Practice!

We had a great practice tonight - I think we came a long way in using our sound system to the best of its ability. Having someone to work the sound board made a big difference! Now all we have to do is get over our fear of microphones. (Microphobia? Microphonia? Microphonophobia?)

New Idea: Sign-Up For Sundays!

Howdy!

Starting this October, we're going to try something new for the Praise Team. I will post a sign-up sheet on the brand-new bulletin board outside the choir room where people can sign-up for what Sundays they can be there for the next month or two. That way, all of us will know who is going to be there at practice on Wednesday and who will be there to sing on Sunday.

If you need a Sunday off, go ahead and take it! If you are interested in becoming a part of the Praise Team, but are afraid of the time commitment, this is a great way to try it out for a Sunday or two without feeling like you're giving up your Wednesday nights forever.

I'll bring the sign-up sheet to practice on Wednesday, and we'll start from there!

Have a blessed week, and see you soon!

Pastor Steve would like one of us to introduce the first song and also have one of us lead prayer between "You're Worthy of My Praise" and "The Heart of Worship"...Let me know if you're interested or have any ideas!

At 7:30ish, we'll be rehearsing the music for September 28th:

- I Will Call Upon the Lord

Hello, all!

I'm starting this blog to help all of us (Praise Team members, PowerPoint creators, and anybody else who might be interested) keep track of what is happening with the Praise Team. Here you'll find practice schedules, information on upcoming events, and anything else that might have to do with the Praise Team.

God Bless, and thanks for stopping by!
