October 1st Practice Schedule

Can you believe it's October already?? My nephew is already saying that his birthday (December 14th) is right around the corner...and he's right!! (Well, music-planning-wise, anyway!)

So, at 7:00, we will be practicing for October 5th with:

-Your Grace Is Enough
-I Can Do All Things
-Let Your Spirit Come
-Come Share the Lord
-Worthy Is the Lamb
-Here I Am, Lord
-My Life Is In You, Lord


At 7:30ish, we will be rehearsing for the 12th, which has several unfamiliar songs:

-He Reigns
-Hymn #356 (Come Thou Font of Every Blessing)
-Grace Alone
-Seek Ye First
-You Are* by Mark Roach
-Your Grace Is Enough

Thank goodness we've started practicing two weeks ahead!!

Here's what we are going to be practicing on Wednesday:

At 7:00 sharp we will be rehearsing the music for this Sunday (the 28th):

-I Will Call Upon the Lord
-Fairest Lord Jesus
-You Are Holy(Prince of Peace)
-Jesus Loves Me (So Deep)
-Ain't No Rock
-They'll Know We Are Christians By Our Love

Around 7:30ish, we will be rehearsing for October 5th:

We're also going to be brainstorming ways we can be a little more involved in the 8:45 service in general.

Great Practice!

We had a great practice tonight - I think we came a long way in using our sound system to the best of its ability. Having someone to work the sound board made a big difference! Now all we have to do is get over our fear of microphones. (Microphobia? Microphonia? Microphonophobia?)

New Idea: Sign-Up For Sundays!

Howdy!

Starting this October, we're going to try something new for the Praise Team. I will post a sign-up sheet on the brand-new bulletin board outside the choir room where people can sign-up for what Sundays they can be there for the next month or two. That way, all of us will know who is going to be there at practice on Wednesday and who will be there to sing on Sunday.

If you need a Sunday off, go ahead and take it! If you are interested in becoming a part of the Praise Team, but are afraid of the time commitment, this is a great way to try it out for a Sunday or two without feeling like you're giving up your Wednesday nights forever.

I'll bring the sign-up sheet to practice on Wednesday, and we'll start from there!

September 17th Practice

Hello!

This is what we will be going over on September 17th:

From 7:00 to 7:30 we'll be rehearsing September 21st's music:

- Let Everything That Has Breath
- You’re Worthy of My Praise
- The Heart of Worship
- I Will Bow To You
- Give Thanks
- Mighty Is Our God

Pastor Steve would like one of us to introduce the first song and also have one of us lead prayer between "You're Worthy of My Praise" and "The Heart of Worship"...Let me know if you're interested or have any ideas!

At 7:30ish, we'll be rehearsing the music for September 28th:
